Twin Cities based video and interactive agency; Meditech Communications is looking for an experienced full-time, video professional. Candidate must be detail oriented, very creative, self-motivated and passionate about production in a small team environment.
Qualifications:
Should also have experience in developing program content, generating creative treatments, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming.
Production experience should include single and multi-camera studio and field production and all phases of post-production.
Experience in the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG production, lighting technique, interviewing and editing of feature material.
Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment: cameras, field audio and lighting equipment, digital non-linear video editing (Final Cut-Pro), nonlinear audio editing.
Familiarity with the implementation of motion graphics and 3D animation
Tasks:
Researches, designs, and develops projects for corporate communications and video projects as required.
Leads productions including producing and/or directing production from script through final delivery including the vision, creation and editing of video programs using professional non-linear video editing systems and related television equipment.
Perform a variety of duties in the studio and field.
Works with various senior managers and leaders to provide technical solutions and project guidance.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Able to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure.
Willingness to travel
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:
-Bachelors Degree
-Generally requires 3+ years related experience
-Reports to Executive Producer
-Contributes to the development of company’s business and operations strategy
-Develops and recommends plans for implementation of projects
-Works collaboratively with corporate leadership to deliver results
-Serves as a point of contact for production crew and talent
- Provides leadership on assigned projects to ensure projects are completed on time, and meet defined goals
-Mentors, trains, and provides guidance to crew, and staff where needed.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional teams and various levels of the organization
-Experience in leading multiple large complex projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
